The Master’s Accelerator Program 1 (MAP 1) is a one-semester, pre-master’s program designed specifically for international students. It is ideal for students who are ready to succeed in immersive English-speaking classrooms, but who also want the benefit of English-language and academic training that will help them succeed in their graduate program. The curriculum offers a combination of coursework for your intended graduate degree and MAP-exclusive classes. You will be equipped with the practical, degree-specific vocabulary and research skills you need to excel in your coursework.

Note: MAP 1 students will be enrolled as full-time students with 9+ credit hours. Upon successful progression from MAP, students may transfer 6 credits into a master’s degree program.
The Master’s Accelerator Program 2 (MAP 2) is a two-semester experience that emphasizes classroom skill-building and contextual English-language instruction to support international students’ academic and professional success. MAP 2 includes advanced writing, public speaking, and research instruction. The small class sizes, hands-on and interactive programs, and specially structured curriculum are designed to help you transition seamlessly into your master’s degree program.

Time to completion varies based on a student’s undergraduate degree, English-language ability, degree choice, academic success, and course load per semester. Because of this, some students may require additional semesters to complete required degree credits.
